When booking a paragliding flight in Mauritius, many visitors have one specific goal in mind: flying at Le Morne.And that’s completely understandable.Le Morne is probably the most famous paragliding site on the island. Its unique combination of mountain, lagoon and ocean creates a breathtaking landscape that attracts visitors from all over the world.However, what many people don’t realize before arriving is that Le Morne is also one of the most demanding flying sites in Mauritius when it comes to weather conditions.

Flying at Le Morne Is Only Possible When Everything Aligns

To safely operate a tandem paragliding flight at Le Morne, several conditions must be met at the same time:

• A very specific wind direction.
• The right wind strength.
• Stable flying conditions.
• A suitable weather window long enough for takeoff, flight and landing.

When one of these factors is missing, we choose not to fly there.Our priority is simple: your safety.This is why we are generally only able to fly at Le Morne once or twice per month during the Mauritian winter and around three to four times per month during the summer season.
